EB-5 Projects: A Closer Look At CMB Regional Centers

CMB Regional Centers (“California Military Bases” or “Closed Military Bases”) is USCIS designated and consists of 10 EB-5 regional centers.

CMB has the full geographical scope of California and parts of Nevada. CMB has expanded and opened regional centers that allow them to serve Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, as well as California and Nevada.

CMB regional centers pool capital from foreign EB-5 investors, government entities and private entities to stimulate growth and job creation in needy areas.

A Closer Look At Their Track Record

CMB was established 21 years ago and is one of the oldest regional centers. To date, all of their projects have been approved by USCIS. They have had loan agreements with government agencies, public and private partnerships, and private developers.

  • To date, they have had over 2500 I-526 approvals.
  • They have recorded over 790 I-526 approvals in 2015.
  • They have had over 422 I-829 approvals.
  • They have recorded over 65,000 direct jobs created.
  • They have recorded over 75,000 indirect jobs created.
  • CMB’s EB-5 partnerships have all returned capital to all their EB-5 investors.

A Closer Look At Their California Projects

CMB funded $116,000,000 loan for Great Wolf Lodge in Garden Grove, California. So far, 214 I-526 petitions have been approved with balance pending adjudication.

CMB funded $90,000,000 loan for Ivanpah solar power facility in San Bernadino, California. Project received 100% I-526 approval.

CMB funded $90,000,000 loan for Crescent Dunes solar energy project in Blythe California and Nye County, Nevada. 172 I-526 petitions approved with balance pending adjudication.

CMB funded $65,000,000 loan for Webster in San Francisco, California. So far, 121 I-526 petitions approved with balance pending adjudication.

CMB funded $35,000,000 loan for Berryessa in San Jose, California. So far, 64 I-526 petitions approved with balance pending adjudication.
