The U.S. Department of State – Bureau of Consular Affairs released the EB-5 Program Visa Bulletin for October 2017.
The EB-5 Program Visa Bulletin for October 2017 reveals new cutoff date for applicants from Mainland China.
The new final action date for Mainland-born Chinese applicants advances one week to June 22, 2014, for both the normal program and the regional center program. The dates for filing have advanced one month to October 1, 2014, for Mainland-born Chinese applicants for both the normal program and the regional center program.
For applicants from all other countries the dates are “C” or current.
The good news is that the EB-5 Program was recently extended to December 8, 2017, the bad news is that the new cut-off dates only advanced one week for Mainland-China born investors. Only investors with priority dates before the cut-off date can proceed in the permanent residency process.
