EB-5 Regional Center Program Deadline Pushed Back To December 21st

On Friday President Trump signed H.J.Res. 143 into law. This extends fiscal year 2019 funding for the federal government through December 21st. The EB-5 Regional Center Program is one of the programs extended under this continuing resolution.

George H.W. Bush’s funeral along with the disagreements over border wall funding were two major contributing factors for this two week extension. The new deadline for the EB-5 Regional Center Program is December 21st.

No reforms have been made to the program, so potential investors interested in applying before any changes, such as an increase in the minimum investment amount, have been made can still do so for the next two weeks without fear. News of a potential increased minimum investment amount from $500,000 to $1,350,000, has been circulating.
