The U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs has released its upcoming EB-5 Visa Bulletin August 2018.
The good news is that no new countries are currently facing retrogression.
The bad news is that the visa bulletin does not show any forward change in movement. Final action date for applicants (regional center and non-regional center applicants) from Mainland China and Vietnam remains August 1, 2014. This has not changed since June 2018.
EB-5 Final Action Dates August 2018:
Additionally, the date to file for EB-5 investors (regional center and non-regional center investors) from Mainland China is still October 1, 2014. This date has not changed since July 2018.
EB-5 Dates To File August 2018:
The final action dates and the dates to file for investors from all other countries remains ‘C’ or current.

Get your application in before the rush and lock your spot in the visa line. Applicants may benefit from filing their EB-5 applications early before the wave of potential investors that file right before the EB-5 Regional Center sunset date on September 30, 2018. Fear of other countries becoming backlogged as well as a possible minimum investment amount increase usually have many potential investors racing to file their I-526 petition before program sunset dates.
