The upcoming EB-5 Visa Bulletin for January 2020 has been released on the Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs website and shows significant EB-5 advancement for India.
Here are the EB-5 Visa Bulletin for January 2020 updates:
Final Action Dates
India’s final action dates has advanced four months to May 1, 2018. The final action dates for Mainland China has advanced one week to November 22, 2014. Vietnam’s final action date has advanced by one week to December 8, 2016.
All other countries’ final action dates are current.
The final action dates for Regional Center Program investors is currently marked as unauthorized for all countries because the program is set to expire on December 20, 2019, however, a new federal spending bill is expected to be signed into law prior to this expiration date. This bill will extend the Regional Center Program through September 30, 2020. Once this bill is passed, the final action dates will be the same as the non-regional center final action dates.
Dates for Filing
Mainland China still remains the only country with dates for filing. This date has not changed from December 2019’s EB-5 Visa Bulletin, it is May 15, 2015.
Visa Availability in the Coming Months
According to the EB-5 Visa Bulletin for January 2020 availability for Mainland China, India and Vietnam will look like this:
Mainland China: “It may be possible to advance the date at a slightly faster pace”
India: “Likely to advance at a very rapid pace until the level of demand increases”
Vietnam: “Limited forward movement”
