One popular way for high-net-worth individuals to immigrate to the U.S. is through the EB-5 Program.
The EB-5 Program is an investor visa program. Foreign nationals who invest $900,000 (USD) in a job-creating new commercial enterprise in a rural or high unemployment area of the USA may qualify for visas for themselves, their spouse and their unmarried children under the age of 21 years.
Investments can also be made into non-rural or non-high unemployment areas, the investment rate, however, will be $1.8 million (USD). Investors also have the choice of how involved they would like to be in the management of their investment. Investors primarily concerned about receiving a green card and do not wish to manage the day to day operations of their investment can invest in the EB-5 Regional Center Program.
