The June 2018 EB-5 Visa Bulletin has been released by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs.
What does the June 2018 EB-5 Visa Bulletin reveal?
It shows movement as well as stagnation.
The final action dates for applicants from Mainland China and Vietnam for both regional center and non-regional center applicants have moved up in date to August 1, 2014. Applicants from all other countries remain current.
The date for filing for applicants from Mainland China has not moved up in date. It remains at September 1, 2014 for regional center as well as non-regional center cases. All other countries date for filing is designated as current.
What countries are oversubscribed?
Mainland China and Vietnam are both still oversubscribed, but as of June, 2018, no other countries are looking at oversubscription yet. The countries that may become oversubscribed in the near future include South Korea, Taiwan, and India. Therefore, for applicants from these three countries, it may be beneficial to apply as early as possible for the EB-5 Program visa before their country is oversubscribed.
