The EB-5 Extension

The EB-5 Regional Center Program has been extended through September 30th, 2020 as part of the federal spending package. No changes were made to the program. Click here to read about the program extension in more detail. 

The EB-5 Visa Bulletin for January 2020

The newly released Visa Bulletin shows advancement in the final action dates for the three EB-5 backlogged countries Mainland China, India and Vietnam. It also mentions potential monthly movement for these three countries. For the EB-5 category, it says Mainland China may advance slightly faster, India may advance rapidly until demand increases, and Vietnam may see limited forward movement. The EB-5 Modernization Regulation

The new EB-5 regulation includes the biggest changes for the program since it was created nearly 30 years ago. These major changes include increases to the minimum investment amount and changes to how targeted employment areas are designated and defined.
