Upcoming April 2019 EB-5 Visa Bulletin

The upcoming April 2019 EB-5 visa bulletin has been released this week by the Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs. Here’s what has changed.

Final Action Dates

Good news for investors from Mainland China and Vietnam, both countries final action dates have advanced. The final action date for Mainland China is now September 15, 2014 for both regional center and non-regional center applicants. Great news for Vietnam as their the final action date is now August 22, 2016 for both regional center and non-regional center applicants, meaning it advanced by more than a month. All other countries are ‘C’ or current.

Dates For Filing

More movement for Mainland China as their dates for filing has also advanced one week to October 8, 2014 for both regional center and non-regional center applicants. All other countries remain ‘C’ or current.

Conclusion

Processing times are steadily getting back to where they were prior to the government shutdown. So far this year, no other countries are facing visa retrogression. New EB-5 regulations could, however, impact visa processing times drastically. Keep an eye out for more EB-5 news and file your EB-5 application soon before any program changes take place.
