Upcoming March 2019 EB-5 Visa Bulletin

The Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs has released its March 2019 EB-5 Visa Bulletin.

The Final Action Dates for the EB-5 Non-Regional Center Program are all current except for Mainland China and Vietnam. Mainland China applicants have a final action date of September 8, 2014 and Vietnam applicants have a final action date of July 15, 2016. EB-5 Regional Center final action dates has not been updated yet (today is President’s Day) and still says ‘U’ or unauthorized. It is likely to be updated soon, now that the program has been extended until September 30, 2019.

Despite the government shutdown, the Final Action Dates for Non-Regional Center EB-5 applicants in Mainland China have moved up one week since February’s EB-5 Visa Bulletin. Vietnam’s Final Action Date has, unfortunately, remained the same since last month.

The Dates for Filing for all countries except Mainland China remains current. Mainland China applicants date for filing is October 1, 2014 for both EB-5 Non-Regional Center Program as well as the Regional Center Program.

There has not been any movement in the Dates for Filing for Mainland China for either program.

Now that the government shutdown is over and the program has been re-authorized until September 30, 2019, EB-5 I-526 Petitions can be filed again and new visa interviews can be scheduled.
