Why the EB-5 visa over other visa categories?
If the dream is to send your children to top U.S. schools, choosing the EB-5 visa program will allow your children to not only study at a prestigious educational institute, but it will allow them to pursue careers at top U.S. firms afterward. Other visa categories do not allow students on visas to work while studying or work after completing their studies.
Once your children have lived in the U.S. studied at top U.S. schools, they will not want to up and leave simply because their studies ended. But that’s how other visa categories work. The EB-5 visa, however, is different. Once the principal EB-5 investor has completed the program requirements they can apply to remove the conditions on their green cards, allowing them, and their immediate family members, to stay in the U.S. Additionally, five years after obtaining conditional permanent residency, the EB-5 principal investor and their immediate family may be eligible for U.S. citizenship.
